Ethiopian Mocha Sidamo

From the birthplace of coffee, Ethiopian Mocha Sidamo is an intriguing mixture of chocolate notes and a hint of sweet berries. This coffee is grown by a co-operative of farmers in Sidama zone of the Southern Nations Nationalities and Peoples' Region (SNNPR), Southern Ethiopia. Grown at an altitude of 1550 - 2200 m.a.s.l., this coffee receives ample rainfall at optimal low temperature and in rich soil – ideal growing conditions for coffee production. Washed arabicas from this region typically possess intriguing sweet and floral flavours such as lemon, tealeaves and milk chocolate. We roast this coffee light to preserve its delicate origin characteristics as well as its natural medium body and bright acidity.
